a) Introduction
These terms govern your use of services provided by The Career Edit, operated by Emma Allen, based in Auckland, New Zealand. By booking a session or using our website, you agree to these terms.
b) Services Provided
The Career Edit provides career coaching, CV preparation, LinkedIn profile optimisation, and interview preparation. Our services include The Career Edit Session (two 45-minute one-to-one sessions), CV Preparation (from $295), LinkedIn Optimisation ($199), and Interview Prep ($199). All services are delivered by Emma Allen, Career Strategy Coach and CDANZ Affiliate, unless otherwise stated.
c) Payment Terms
The Career Edit Session (two 45-minute sessions) is $249 NZD. CV Preparation starts from $295, LinkedIn Optimisation is $199, and Interview Prep is $199. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
d) Cancellation and Rescheduling
Paid coaching sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests within 48 hours of the scheduled session may incur a fee or forfeiture of the session. To reschedule, contact hello@thecareereditinfo.co.nz or use your reschedule link.
e) Refund Policy
If a session is cancelled by The Career Edit, a full refund or rescheduled session will be offered. Refund requests for client-initiated cancellations of paid sessions are considered on a case-by-case basis. Since all services are highly personalized, refunds are generally not provided once a session or work has commenced.
f) Intellectual Property
All website content, templates, resources, and coaching materials remain the intellectual property of The Career Edit. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise our content without written permission.
g) Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, attend sessions on time, and engage genuinely in the coaching process. The effectiveness of coaching depends significantly on your participation.
h) Limitation of Liability
The Career Edit provides guidance and coaching to support informed career decisions. We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, promotions, or salary increases. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for services rendered.
i) Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
j) Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.
k) Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
