- Information provided in client intake forms, CVs, LinkedIn profiles, or enquiry forms.
- Booking information (session dates, times).
- Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card details).
- Website analytics (page views, session duration — collected anonymously).

We collect and use this information for the following purposes:
- To provide career coaching services.
- To prepare for and customize your career coaching sessions and career assets (CV/LinkedIn).
- To schedule and manage bookings.
- To process payments securely.
- To communicate with you about your sessions.
- To improve our services and website.
- To send occasional newsletters (you can unsubscribe at any time).
d) How We Store Information
All personal information is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Session notes, intake documents, CV drafts, and other service-related files are stored in secure cloud databases and storage with restricted access. Payment information is processed by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only when required by law or with service providers who help us operate (e.g., Stripe for payments, Google for email) — all bound by confidentiality agreements.

Career Clarity Assessment & Report — Additional Detail
The free Career Clarity Assessment asks no personal details — just your answers to the questions. We only ask for your name and email address at the results screen, once your result is ready, so we can send it to you. If you go on to buy the Career Clarity Report ($29), we also collect payment details, processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
If we email you your result or Career Clarity Report, that email includes a small, invisible tracking image (a “pixel”). This tells us only whether the email was opened — nothing about what you do afterwards, and nothing about your device or browsing beyond that one email. You can stop this at any time by unsubscribing using the link included in every email we send.
You can ask us to delete your assessment answers, result, and any report at any time, for any reason — no need to explain why. Email hello@thecareereditinfo.co.nz from the address you used and we'll confirm once it's done, normally within a few business days.
h) Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.
